Suffering from amnesia after surviving an attempted murder, Jane, Lisbon and the rest of the team are asked to help a Jane Doe remember what happened. Unable to remember her name, occupation, taste in coffee or the person who shot her, Jane uses every trick in the book to try and lure her memory back from the abyss. The team soon discovers her to be a local journalist named Camille Dillon, shot and left for dead when she got to close to a story she was investigating.
